Friends

 Review

The series that I would like to review is “Friends”. This series was had been filmed in the 1990st and 2000st. Even though it’s a little old, this series is the best I have ever seen.

In a nutshell, the storyline follows every daily life of a group of friends. In particular, most of the episodes are set in a fictional café named “Central Perk” in New York city or in the appartement of Monica, one of the main personalities of the series.

Despite the apparent simplicity of the general plot, the social dynamics developed in this series are kind compelling. All characters are unique and bring something special to the group. In fact, each personality had been so well thought that nobody can be bored watching all the episodes of the ten seasons. On the contrary, these characters become part of your life. However, this series is not “addictive” as others, it’s just a very pleasant series that doesn’t cause stress to the audience.

As a matter of fact, any kind of audience can recognize himself in a specific challenging situation or in one character because they have different type of flawed personalities. For example, along the plot we can see how the protagonists deal with love disappointment, divorces, abandonment, issues with their direct family, but at the same time also how they stick to their guns and succeed in a way or in another. In other words, you can follow the main characters growing up, making mistakes, but always vouching for each other and all of this with a lot of different kind of sense of humor.

As a result, watching this series allows the audience to feel less lonely or to take daily problems less seriously. In fact, you can watch repeatedly each episode and always burst out laughing or learn simple, but important, live lesson from the main characters. For these reason, I recommend this series.

Review

The series that I would like to review is “Friends”.

Avoid starting with "non sequitur" (something that goes without saying).

Friends is a U.S comedy television series that was hugely popular from the mid-90s through to the mid 2000s.

To some, Friends might seem a little offbeat or a little out-of-date, but for me it's outstanding, particularly for its unique and relatable characters.

(I thought they all shared the apartment?)

Despite the apparent formulaic simplicity of the show's scenarios, the social dynamics and the relationships between the characters developed over this series are undeniably compelling.

On the contrary, these characters become part of your life. However, this series is not so “addictive” as others tend to be, and gains loyalty through its simple appeal.

For these reasons, I'd recommend Friends to almost anyone, but perhaps most of all to people of the same age as the characters who are going through the same kinds of experiences.
