/ə/ Text: speak clearly and slowly

A teacher and a student were at a market.

The student wanted a banana and a tomato.

It was about a quarter to eleven.

The teacher said, “Put it in a bag and come with me.”

They walked to a corner of the market.

There was a woman with a camera and a computer.

She wanted to take a photo of the banana.

The student said, “What a strange idea!”

After a minute, the woman gave them a dollar.

The teacher said, “That was a good surprise for a normal day.”

The girl saw a bird early in the morning.

The bird was sitting on a dirty shirt.

The girl wanted to learn more about the bird.

She heard a word from her teacher: “Observe!”

The teacher said, “Work hard and learn every day.”

The girl worked first, then she played later.

She found a purple flower near the bird.

A small worm was under the flower.

The bird ate the worm and flew over the girl.

The girl laughed and said, “This is a perfect day to learn!”
