Sentence transformations are a way of consolidating everything you've learned at each level.
So, my advice for this way of exercising the flexibility of your English usage is to practice at lower levels than the one you're currently studying.
If you try to do the harder ones before you've really mastered the grammar and vocabulary of that level you'll just get frustrated!
